Tiny energy harvesting sensor based off ARM 32 bit processor!

According to this Physorg article University of Michigan researchers have developed a tiny energy harvesting processor, with an ultra low power consumption of avg 1 nanowatt and it only uses an ARM Cortex-M3 processor - all sounds very good! Anyone have more details?

What are other preferred products in the ultra low power or energy harvesting realm?

Also, the article states that the research would be presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference in San Francisco. If anyone is attending the conference, kindly get in touch.

Thanks, Bee
