Samtec ASP-130367-01 connector

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Samtec ASP-130367-01 connector? I have looked everywhere and no one seems to stock this.

Thanks,

Linda jo

Linda,

"ASP" means application specific and so I am not surprised there is not stock in the channel. If you would have a drawing of the part, I could check if more industry standard alternatives would exist.

Rob

Re: Samtec ASP-130367-01 connector

Hi Linda,

As Rob said, ASP is application specific - in other words, it's a made-to-order customer special.  We do have a Samtec expert here on Element 14 - perhaps she can be of assistance?

Samantha Martin

Otherwise, like Rob said, any other manufacturer would need to see a copy of the drawing to see if they could offer an alternative.  I hope this helps!

Re: Samtec ASP-130367-01 connector

Linda,

It looks like that Samtec connector is designed for the ARM High Speed Serial Trace Port (HSSTP) Architecture Specification. Access to the standard is restricted to registered ARM users (http://infocenter.arm.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.arm.doc.pr106prdc006159/index.html). From my research it looks like an edgemount, 20 position connector in the Samtec Edge Rate series (http://www.samtec.com/documents/webfiles/chinese_version/ERM8-EM_C.pdf). If you have a spec drawing, you can compare and confirm that identification. With the part identified, most connector makers or their distributors will be able to quickly cross it and confirm if they have equivalent HSSTP offerings.

My regards,

Lindsay Powell
