The Environment Agency has made its first procecution some two and a half years after the
WEEE legislation came into force.
SITA Metal Recycling was found guilty of four offences in relation to errors made when issuing WEEE
recycling evidence during 2007 and 2008.
They were fined £4000 and ordered to pay full costs of £4456.
