Tech First Kit-TI-TMDXEVM3517-ARM-Dev Kit

The TMDXEVM3517 is an evaluation module which is designed by TI to evaluate the full functionality and application of the AM3517 microprocessor. Designers can evaluate all the peripherals of AM3517 microprocessor by using TMDXEVM3517.

The AM3517 microprocessor integrates ARM Cortex-A8 500MHz core, making it capable of providing 1000 Dhrystone MIPS and supporting most of the RTOS. Also, it is software compatible with TI’s OMAP processor.

Benefited from the POWERVR SGXTM graphics accelerator and VFP (Vector Floating Point) co-processor, the AM3517 microprocessor can easily support high-quality image anti-aliasing, PIP (Picture in Picture), colour space conversion, image rotation and up/down scaling.

With industrial temperature range, abundant peripherals, excellent graphics capabilities, and high performance at lower than 1W power consumption, the AM3517 microprocessor is an ideal low-cost solution for the applications such as industrial automation, medical imaging, commercial portable devices, and transportation.
