Chicago-based electronics distributor wins in all categories, receives the most awards

CHICAGO NOVEMBER 5, 2009 Newark, part of the global Premier Farnell Group, and a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals across the Americas, is pleased to announce that it has received 10 Channel Marketing Awards from the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA), for the creativity and effectiveness of its marketing communications.

The awards were presented at the 2009 NEDA Executive Conference in Chicago on November 2. Newark received 5 Platinum Excellence Awards for its advertising campaign, integrated marketing, corporate newsletter and corporate capabilities brochures. Another five Gold awards were captured in the categories of full page image advertising,

co-op advertising, corporate newsletter, web promotion and industry advocacy.

All of Newark's marketing communications are developed and created in-house.

Over the last seven years Newark has received a total of 77 Channel Marketing Awards, more than any other entrant.
