JCK & JCM: XP Power releases 15 Watt and 30 Watt ultra compact DC/DC converter range

XP Power today announced additions to its extensive range of ultra compact low power DC/DC converters. The 15 Watt JCM15 comes in a tiny 1” x 1” metal package, with the 30 Watt JCK30 being available in a metal case that measures just 2” x 1”. These encapsulated PCB mounted converters accommodate a wide 2:1 input voltage range, accepting either 9 – 18, 18 – 36 or 36 – 75 VDC, covering the nominal inputs of +12, +24 or +48 VDC. Single output models provide +3.3, +5, +12 or +15 VDC, while the duals offer +/-5, +/-12 or +/-15 VDC. All outputs are fully regulated to within +/- 0.5% over all input and load conditions for the single output models and less than +/- 1.0% for the dual outputs.

AEF & AFM: External medical and IT power supplies meet latest energy efficiency standards

XP Power today announced the launch of the AEF and AFM series of external AC/DC power supply units. Designed for a wide range of IT and portable medical equipment, the units provide single outputs with power output between 100 – 150 watts. These highly efficient units, up to 94% for the AEF series, comply with the latest energy efficiency standards such as Energy Star Level V, EISA2007 and CEC2008 in the United States and the ErP Directive across Europe. These standards stipulate limits for average energy efficiency and the maximum no load power consumption, which is less than 0.5 Watts for both the AEF and AFM. By using one of these new units, manufacturers of end systems will be able to ensure that their product meets the internationally recognised energy efficiency standards.

DLA: Highly efficient LED driver meets IP67 standard suiting outdoor and tunnel lighting applications

XP Power today announced the DLA series of AC input LED drivers with output power ranges of 50, 75, 100, 120 and 150 W. These highly efficient units, rated at greater than 85% for the 50 Watt and up to 94% for the 150 W models, have a high power factor input ranging from 0.85 to 0.99 depending on the model. The drivers are available with either constant current or constant voltage outputs, with the constant voltage models offering the popular nominal outputs of +12, +18, +24, + 36, +42, +48, +54 or +105 VDC, and constant current models from 350 – 5950 mA. The output voltage of the constant current models is determined by the load.
