XP Power

XP Power today announced the introduction of the SHP650 and MHP650 series of single output high power density fan cooled AC/DC power supplies. The MHP650 range meets the IEC60601-1 safety specification for medical equipment while the SHP650 range compiles with the IEC60950 standard for IT and industrial equipment. Both series are highly efficient, typically 86%, and have a high power density of 8.2 Watts/cubic inch.

XP Power announced today the HPU1K5 1500 Watt AC/DC power supply series aimed at a broad range of industrial applications that require bulk power within a compact enclosure. Three single output models are available covering the nominal output voltages of +12, +24, or + 48 VDC, with each being user adjustable either manually, or via an external voltage signal. The universal input range covers 85-264 VAC, with output power up to 1500 Watts available at high line input and up to 1200 Watts when using input voltages below 180 VAC. Using an integral fan, the supply can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and will operate in a wide temperature environment from -20ºC up to +50ºC at full power, and up to +70ºC with derating.
