We can help you with WEEE & Recycling
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) was due to come into force across Europe on 13/8/05 but only one Member State met the deadline. The UK for example, was some two years late in implementing the legislation. Unlike RoHS, WEEE is not a single market directive and this has lead to different interpretations of what is, and is not, in scope. Moving forward, it is proposed that the product categories which are in scope move from WEEE to sit in annex 1 of the RoHS Directive. WEEE looks to ensure the efficient collection, treatment and recycling of equipment at end-of-life
